The integration connects two complementary European cybersecurity platforms. Sycope analyzes flow data and metadata collected from network probes, providing visibility into network communication, applications, anomalies and security threats. SecureVisio enriches this information with SIEM correlation, asset and business context, risk analysis, UEBA and SOAR automation.
Together, the platforms give analysts a more complete view of an incident—from the affected business asset to the network activity behind the alert—while supporting on-premises deployment, data control and predictable licensing.

From a Sycope alert to a fully contextualized incident
Sycope alerts are automatically transferred to SecureVisio through a dedicated connector. They are normalized, processed and correlated with information already available in the SIEM, including asset criticality, user behavior, risk level and business context.
When an incident requires deeper investigation, the analyst can trigger an action directly from SecureVisio to retrieve the relevant network metadata from Sycope. The request covers a specific client-server IP pair within a five-minute window before and after the alert.
The resulting data is attached to the incident as a CSV file, giving the analyst access to supporting network evidence without manually switching between platforms or matching timestamps across separate consoles.
Network visibility therefore becomes more than another source of alerts. It becomes an investigative resource that analysts can access precisely when a case requires it.
“I’m glad to see two Polish vendors integrating their platforms and complementing each other’s visibility into security data. This integration extends SIEM and SOAR operations with the network traffic visibility provided by Sycope. It reveals activity that may remain beyond the reach of traditional logs, including host-to-host communication, application context and traffic history. What is particularly valuable is that analysts can retrieve the network metadata behind a specific alert directly from an incident. For customers, this is also an opportunity to build sovereign security architectures based on integrated European technologies.” — Piotr Kawa, VP of Sales, Sycope
Why this partnership matters to European organizations
European businesses and public institutions are under growing pressure to improve cyber resilience while retaining control over their infrastructure, security data and technology stack.
The Sycope–SecureVisio partnership addresses these requirements by combining NDR and deep network visibility with SIEM and SOAR capabilities in an integrated European security architecture.
The partnership supports organizations seeking:
- Greater control over sensitive security data
- On-premises or EU-based deployment options
- Better alignment with NIS2, DORA and internal governance requirements
- Faster incident detection and investigation
- More predictable security monitoring costs
- Reduced dependence on non-European technology providers
Complementary capabilities, clearly divided
Sycope and SecureVisio remain independent products. The integration does not create a new platform; it connects two specialized systems so that each can perform the task it handles best.
Sycope provides:
- Flow-based network analysis
- Network Detection and Response
- Host-to-host communication visibility
- Application and protocol context
- Network anomaly and threat detection
- Historical traffic metadata
- Network performance monitoring
SecureVisio provides:
- SIEM correlation
- SOAR workflows and automation
- CMDB and asset context
- Risk analysis
- UEBA
- Business-process context
- Centralized incident management
Sycope shows what is happening across the network. SecureVisio connects that activity to assets, users, risks and business processes—and incorporates it into the wider incident response workflow.
Why NDR and SIEM work better together
A SIEM can correlate only the data it receives. If relevant network activity is not represented in logs—or lacks sufficient detail—it can remain outside the analyst’s field of view.
NDR closes this gap by analyzing behavior visible directly in network traffic.
Visibility beyond traditional logs
Sycope can identify behaviors such as lateral movement, command-and-control communication, beaconing, DNS tunneling and unusual host-to-host connections. These activities are expressed through communication patterns and network behavior, not necessarily through a clear log entry.
Context available during the investigation
When an alert becomes an incident, analysts can retrieve the associated network metadata without leaving the SecureVisio workflow. The information is filtered to the relevant IP pair and time window, providing focused evidence rather than an unmanageable volume of raw traffic data.
One correlated incident picture
A Sycope alert does not remain isolated in a separate NDR console. SecureVisio can correlate it with other security events, CMDB information, asset criticality, UEBA baselines and risk scores.
This helps analysts understand not only what happened on the network, but also what the affected system supports and how significant the incident may be to the organization.
A ready, documented integration
The connector, parser, security rule and enrichment action are delivered as defined integration components. Organizations can activate the flow of information without having to design a custom integration project from scratch.
How the integration works
The integration consists of four building blocks:
Connector
SecureVisio retrieves new alerts incrementally through the Sycope API. A timestamp is used as a state marker, ensuring that only alerts generated since the previous request are collected.
Parser
The parser maps Sycope alerts to the SecureVisio data model. This allows the information to be processed and correlated in the same way as events from other security sources.
Security rule
A dedicated rule identifies new Sycope alerts and transforms them into events for further processing within SIEM and SOAR workflows.
Metadata on demand
From an incident in SecureVisio, the analyst can request network metadata for a selected IP address pair covering five minutes before and after the alert. The results are delivered as a CSV attachment to the incident.
The final step is intentionally initiated by the analyst. Network metadata is retrieved when it is relevant to the investigation, rather than being transferred automatically for every alert.
Investigation without switching tools
Consider a network anomaly detected by Sycope.
The alert is transferred to SecureVisio and correlated with other information available in the platform. When the analyst opens the incident, they can already see the affected asset, its business role, associated users, risk level and related security events.
If additional network evidence is required, the analyst triggers the enrichment action. Sycope returns the communication metadata associated with the relevant client-server pair and time window.
The analyst can then examine who communicated with whom, when the communication occurred, which application or service was involved, and how much data was exchanged—all from within the existing incident workflow.
There is no need to open a separate console, repeat the search or manually align timestamps between systems.
Deeper network context without uncontrolled SIEM costs
Sending every network record into a SIEM can increase data volumes, infrastructure requirements and licensing costs. The Sycope–SecureVisio integration takes a more selective approach.
Filtering begins in Sycope
Sycope analyzes and filters data at the network layer. Instead of forwarding all available traffic metadata to the SIEM, it sends security alerts representing activity that requires attention.
Raw network data is retrieved only when needed
SecureVisio receives Sycope alerts by default—not a continuous stream of all network records. Detailed metadata is requested for a specific IP pair and time window only when an analyst determines that it is necessary.
This preserves investigative depth without continuously transferring and processing the entire network history in the SIEM.
Flexible retention and processing in SecureVisio
SecureVisio separates log management from SIEM correlation. This enables organizations to retain more information in a lower-cost layer while deciding which data should undergo full SIEM processing and correlation.
Asset-based SecureVisio licensing
SecureVisio licensing is based on the size of the monitored environment or number of assets, rather than EPS or total log volume. This supports more predictable cost planning as the amount of security data grows.
Together, these mechanisms allow organizations to gain access to meaningful network evidence while limiting unnecessary ingestion, storage and processing.
Keeping security data under your control
Both Sycope and SecureVisio can be deployed on-premises. Network alerts, traffic metadata and incident information can remain within infrastructure controlled by the customer.
This is particularly important for public-sector organizations, critical infrastructure operators, financial institutions and other regulated environments where data location, governance and operational sovereignty are essential requirements.
SecureVisio can also be operated in an EU-based private cloud model, giving organizations additional deployment flexibility while keeping their security architecture within a European technology ecosystem.
See the integration in your environment
The Sycope–SecureVisio integration brings network detection, traffic history and on-demand metadata directly into SIEM and SOAR investigations.
The result is a more complete incident picture, faster access to evidence and deeper network context—without continuously sending all network data through the SIEM.
